The Lower South Coast SPCA held a very successful clinic in the Umzumbe rural area on the weekend. The field officers saw over 50 pets in the area.
Trainee Field Officer Sabelo Ngcobo and assistant Tammy Nel worked hard to deworm, give rabies vaccinations, dip and attended to minor treatments on the animals.
“Margie helped with the marketing and made sure all the locals knew about it, Margie we thank you for your support,” a SPCA spokesperson said on SPCA Facebook page.
“It is with the public’s support that SPCA are able to make a difference in the communities like this. We get no funding from the government so have to create our own funds through our fundraising projects, charity shops and clinic. We thank each and every one of you for the difference you make,” they continued.
