‘Bright sparks’ at Creston Senior Primary – catch play this week

Creston Senior Primary learners had a surprise waiting for them when they returned from their holidays in the form of new sliding doors in their classrooms.

The new doors look fantastic and add much-needed extra light into the classrooms. Thank you to our management team for arranging for these new additions.

The Grade 7s were given a brief last term for Technology where they were asked to redesign the Grade 7 classroom and make it ‘greener’.

Green structures are structures which are environmentally responsible in both design, building and placement.

The learners did a fantastic job with some excellent ideas and concepts coming through. We are so proud of their efforts and thank each one for a stunning project.

The Senior Primary would like to welcome all parents and learners back to term three and a special welcome to our new learners and families who have joined us this term.

This term is set to be an exciting term with our inter-house athletics day taking place on 1 August as well as some wonderful adventures happening in our classrooms.

As the Grade 7s are busy with their R.E.S.T assured study skills course, they were asked to bring soup. A very big thank you to all the children and parents who donated to this very worthy cause.

Creston invites all to their Jamie and Gigantic Peach production this Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at 17:30. Tickets will be sold at the door at R60 for adults and R40 for learners and pensioners.
