Juniors poised for PSi South Coast Hockey League

The 2017 Pro Series Indoor South Coast Regional Hockey League for juniors will take place at Port Shepstone High School from 1-3 April.

There’s a change in format this year, with organisers moving away from last year’s inaugural league, which featured Under-13 to Under-18 teams over four weeks, to two separate junior and senior leagues over consecutive days.

The streamlined leagues serve as the perfect platforms for South Coast Marlins coaches to assess players with the primary goal of selecting sides to represent the franchise in national tournaments.

The upcoming three-day league is for boys and girls under the age of 12, in which standout players will go on to don South Coast Marlins colours in the PSi Junior Nationals in July.

Players can register here at a cost of R450 per player, which includes a PSi branded playing vest as well as the affiliation fee to the South African Hockey Association. Registration closes on Saturday (25 March).
