The community showed its love and support for South Coast Hospice at their Valentine’s Brunch that was held at St Michael’s Sands Hotel on Saturday.
Toiletry items, food items and beanies were brought as love tokens to the event to give care to South Coast Hospice beneficiaries, especially young woman.
Fundraiser BT King acknowledges with grateful thanks everyone who supported the popular event and said she looks forward to welcoming them back to Hospice’s next event, for Mother’s Day, on 12 May.
The brunch was also a great opportunity for CEO Diane van Dyk to encourage members of the community to show their support to Comrades runners from all over the world, by making butterfly-themed blessing/prayer flags of encouragement, which will be on display at the Hospice South Africa Refreshment Stand just after the halfway point of this year’s Comrades Marathon at Drummond.
Van Dyk and King will be at Shelly Centre on Saturday where the Comrades bangles and blessing/prayer flags will be on show.
