Get your ‘Woof for Hospice’ bandana at the South Coast Hospice Family Fun Day at Hamel Farm in Izotsha on Saturday, 30 March.
Bring the whole family, dogs and all, and enjoy a relaxing day on the tranquil Hamel Farm, away from the hustle and bustle.
There will be a 5km and 10km run/walk. The challenging 10km makes for a good training run, while the 5km is great for a leisurely stroll or a walk with your dog.
BT King, South Coast Hospice’s multi-talented fundraiser, has made special doggie bandanas ‘Woof for Hospice’ that will be on sale on the day.
The event is held in honour of Helen Mostert, who was a beloved volunteer at South Coast Hospice for many years
“It is a blessing and a privilege to be able to remember Helen Mostert through this beautiful event on the family farm. We thank Ryan and Dayna Mostert for the use of Hamel Farm in memory of their mum,” said King.
“We invite everyone to come and spend the day with us. There’s something for everyone to enjoy. It’s a beautiful day for the whole family; children are welcome to bring their bicycles and there is a beautiful dam on the farm, with catch-and-release fishing facilities.
“Share a cupcake with family and friends in the shade of the gorgeous expansive trees from the Bake Sale and an exciting array of plants, clothes, jewelry, delicious food and books will be on offer at the car boot sale,” added King.
