MESSAGE FROM RNM MANAGER MAX MBILI TO MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC:

Members of the public are advised not to  accept a response that they cannot be assisted because an employee responsible for the function  is on leave. Management has been advised to make necessary arrangements before application for annual  leave is approved.  If this response is given in future, members of the public are advised to contact the Head of Department who will give the necessary response.  Members of the Public are also advised to engage Heads of Departments before they take their problem either to  the office of the Municipal Manager or Madam Mayor.

It is the view of the Municipality that function or business responsibilities don’t go on leave. We promise members of the public that all responses will be given at times as necessary arrangements will be made before annual leave is approved. In the case of sick leave Heads of Departments will ensure that an interim arrangement is made for the continuity of the business.

  1. Thanks Max, its great to have these channels, but if no one gets back to you, then it helps nothing. I asked for for feedback as to why our property has not been serviced by the Vacuum Sucker for the past 2 months and I have still had no reply. I called last week and I was promised that someone would return my call.
    If there is no accountability, then all your talk is just a “wishful dream” as our President calls it!!!!
    Our roads are in the worst condition they have ever been, some potholes are more than 6 months old!
    Water supply is the worst its been. Our area has been on water shedding for the past 3 weeks with no notification from anyone. We have had less than 60 days of water supply this year and we are already into July.
    The South Coast is not in a happy place……I think its time that the sweet talk is turned into action and we get off our bums and start DOING what we have been “overpaid” to do.
