COMMUNITY SERVICES DEPARTMENT
ASSISTANT SUPERINTENDENT LAW ENFORCEMENT / TRAFFIC NORTH
Salary: R236 041 .22 – R260 646 .21 per annum (Excluding all benefits)
Requirements: Grade 12 · Traffic Diploma · Registered with Department of Transport · One (1) year services as a Senior Traffic Officer · At least five (5) years’ experience in Transport and Law Enforcement environment · Computer Literacy · Valid Code B Drivers Licence · No criminal records · Must be able to communicate in local spoken languages · A vision oriented person.
Key Performance areas: Formatting strategic plan for Law Enforcement · Managing staff · Attending departmental management meetings and section meetings · liaising with all role-players in terms of Law Enforcement · Formulating Crime Prevention strategies for Council in the fight against crime in rural and urban areas and on the beach · Promotes safety within Hibiscus Coast Municipality.
LIBRARY COMPUTER ASSISTANT
Salary: R120 000.00 (All Inclusive package)
Requirements: Senior Certificate and CompTIA accredited A+Certificate (N+ will be an added advantage) • Provable, practical skills, knowledge and experience of computers, word processing, Internet and e-mail. • Basic understanding of maintaining and trouble – shooting Windows 7 operating system software, PC and printer hardware (working on windows XP will be an added advantage) • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Excellent interpersonal skills • Qualification and work experience in a library environment will be an added advantage • Monitor and maintain computer, printer and connectivity hardware and software • Willingness to work according to set library hours ,including Saturdays.
- A computer test will be conducted.
Key Performance Areas: Assist and train library users in basic computer skills and Internet searching promote and develop computer services to the public • administer the usage of the computer services in the library • Monitor PC, printer and connectivity hardware and software • Ensure policies for usage and security are adhered to by library users
