Experienced golfers took centre stage at Port Shepstone Country Club on Thursday as they vied for top honours in the annual veterans club championships.
After a great day of golf, Rubbie Dulley, Brian Nolan and Jimmy Robinson were crowned the 2014 champions.
Earlier in the week, Andy Platt counted out Charles Mostert on 38 points to win the individual stableford on Wednesday.
Gerald Koch was third on 37 points following a count out.
The week’s competitive golf concluded with a fourball alliance (three to count) on Saturday, with
Robert Mavundla, Wanda Nxumalo, Sbu Ntozakhe and Mot Moleele coming out on top on 124 points.
They counted out Ronnie and Ricky Naidoo, Anba Pillay and Santhos Baskali while Charles Hulley, Ewald Ziervogel, Leon Reeders and Gerhard Labuschagne placed third on 120 points.
