A special commemorative Burry Stander medal tops the list of reasons why mountain bikers cannot afford to miss the Lake Eland Quattro Classic powered by The Burry Stander Foundation on Sunday.
Riders will also be in line to take away one of 300 special Burry Stander water bottles as well as prizes sponsored by Oakley, Specialized, Rotor, Powasol and even Cakes Devine.
On top of that, riders will receive goodie bags and stand a chance of winning a two-night stay for two including breakfast at Leopard Walk Lodge situated 20km northeast of Hluhluwe courtesy of Distant Shores Travel Agency.
Aside from the prizes, riders will be treated to spectacular open mountain sections as well as beautiful valley and orchard trails, which coupled with game-viewing opportunities, promises to make the Lake Eland Quattro Classic one of the most picturesque and memorable races of the year.
With 45km, 25km and 10km races to choose from, riders of all ages and skill levels are catered for and are expected to flock to Lake Eland Game Reserve.
Pre-entry costs R60 (10km), R130 (25km) and R170 (45km).
Late entries will be accepted on the day at an addition fee.
