Howard Kelly, Vice Chair of Ugu South Coast Tourism, is leading the way in terms of how how golf clubs are overcoming economic challenges.
Kelly commented: “As golf clubs worldwide come under more and more financial pressure as a result of ever increasing expenses and reduced rounds it has become imperative to look at alternative ways of generating additional income.
“Thanks to a dynamic committee Southbroom Golf Club has embarked on programme of presenting events and activities which expose non golfers and potential new members to the wonderful asset of Southbroom Golf Club.
“This unique golf course considered by many to be one of the best seaside holiday courses in South Africa has much to offer besides wonderful golf.
