Creston College Grade 6 pupil Paige Roberts managed some wonderful horse-riding achievements with her horse Hashtag at Shongweni recently.

She received a first and a third place in Prix Caprilli, a third place in Jumping and she placed in the Dressage event. Well done Paige, we are so proud of you!

Chloe Ellis (pictured below) took part in the KZN Elite Trials recently in Durban and earned a spot in the top four in her division, which entitles her to take part and represent KZN in the Nationals in Cape Town on the 15th and 16th March.

Congratulations on Joshua D`Arcy’s selection into the final Ugu Under-11 Cricket Team to compete at KZN Under-11 Cricket Trials.

We wish him every success and look forward to hearing about his performances at trials. We are extremely proud of his achievement.

We are very proud of our KZN champion Salma Bejia who represented the Ugu Athletics Team in the KZN Schools Athletics Championship, which was held at Kings Park last Friday.

Salma won gold for the 800m race with a time of 2min28sc. She will be representing the KZN team at the SA Schools Championship, which will be held in Germiston on the 15th of March.

Selma’s parents wish to express special thanks to Mrs Horlock for her continuous support, as well as to Mrs van den Berg, Miss Marx and all grade 7 teachers for their encouragement and support.
