With a successful opening month in the books, the Criterion Power Sports South Coast sport photo competition powered by eHowz!t is building up steam ahead of the selection of the second monthly winner.
Inaugural winner Brendon van Rooyen of BvR Photography received his prize, a R500 Fox voucher, at the Criterion Power Sports store in Port Shepstone on Wednesday.
The Criterion Power Sports Sick Pic of the Month competition aims to bring a new dimension to sport and reward South Coasters for their photography skills.
January’s winner will walk away with a R500 Fox voucher to be used at the Criterion Power Sports store or on www.criterionpowersports.co.za.
The competition has a few simple rules.
Photos, whether taken in or out of competition, must be taken on the South Coast or by a South Coast local.
Eligible sports are drifting, rally, hillclimb, enduro, off-road riding, motocross, freestyle motocross, track, trials, cycling, surfing, bodyboarding, wakeboarding, skateboarding, boating, jet skiing, kayaking/paddling and fishing.
To qualify, entrants must like both the eHowz!t (click here) and Criterion Power Sports (click here) Facebook pages, submit a high resolution photo to firstname.lastname@example.org and include a short image description (photographer credit, athlete, location, event and entrant’s contact details).
By entering, photographers also agree that winning photos may be used by both Criterion Power Sports and eHowz!t rights free.
The cut-off date for monthly entries is the last Monday of each month to allow the judges sufficient time to select a winner.
All entries submitted after the cut-off date will roll over and be in the running for the following month’s competition.
