The Hibiscus Coast Business Forum (HCBF) is presenting a Fish and Music Carnival on Saturday, 8 July at Rocky Ridge Music Venue.

Anton van Riet, Chairman of the HCBF, says; “The South Coast leans itself to an event combining seafood, the pleasant winter weather and music and hence the HCBF decided to present such event at Rocky Ridge in Fascadale Road, Ramsgate.

“It is an event for the whole family which supports local artists and all supplies and equipment are sourced locally. We would like to invite South Coasters and holiday makers to come and enjoy the day with us. It is an open air event and the day will be filled with fun, food and entertainment.

“Seafood will be freshly prepared and served old style and on the all-day menu will be Fish and Chips, Prawns and Chips or rice, Calamari Rings, Fish Fingers and Combo meals. For the thirsty, the bar will be open all day and apart from seafood, traditional pancakes, koeksisters and hot chocolate will be on sale at the stalls.”

Visitors will be entertained with ten hours of non-stop live music, starting with performances from late morning on the stage, to be prepared in the garden using state of the art sound equipment and lighting.

Enough bomas and gas heaters will provide comfort for the evening session with the day to conclude around 11pm in the evening.

An impressive line-up of local bands include “The Revivaltones”, “The Gentry”, “Reflex” and “No Refund”, as well as artists “Natascha”, “Zel”, “Elvis”, “Promise”, “Julian Damon” and others.
