The Wobblers played in a threeball alliance format, with each team sharing a pink ball which counted on all holes with one other score.
Winning the day with 77 points was the team of Dave Morrison, Peter Hunter and Louis Gouws. Second place went to Thys Bothma, Bob Weanie and Rod O’Farrell with 76 points, on a count out.
Third place, also on 76 points, was Hans Beilhartz, Roy Noelan and Ernie Janse, while the Arthur Tomlinson Floater went to Frank Merrill, Keith Pearson and Freddie Boshoff with a mere 52 points.
Unfortunately, the Thursday Margate Pro Shop competition was cancelled due to unfavourable weather conditions.
