Thousands of petrolheads converged on Dezzi Raceway for two days of high-octane motorsports action in the inaugural Gas Motorshow at the weekend.
From full circuit drifting by the likes of Des and Shane Gutzeit and extreme bike stunts by the Le Riche Brothers to motorised trike drifting and Epic Go Karting, the Oslo Beach facility roared with activity during the Gas Magazine-driven festival.
Off the track, the Wicked Dips Show ‘n Shine and IASCA Dyno and Sound Off presented by the Powerflow Exhaust Zone allowed fans to get up close to hundreds of the most beautiful cars from around the province – all vying for top eye and ear candy honours.
Supercar club IBV provided the connoisseur’s touch with 20 of KwaZulu-Natal’s best supercars on display, mini radio controlled drift cars by East Coast Rc Drift Crew, racing simulators by TGN Simulators and a massive kids action zone kept kids busy while others enjoyed the pop-up cinema and unisex spa.
