THIS CARTOON WAS PUBLISHED IN THE SUNDAY TIMES ON 27 TH OCTOBER 2013.

The cartoon depicts LORD GANESHA with money and a human being sacrificed in front of him.

In Hindu religion lord GANESHA is revered as the remover of obstacles and has nothing to do with money. Hindus do not sacrifice to LORD GANESHA but abstain from meat and or are vegetarians.

This cartoon degrades the majority of our Hindu devotees of LORD GANESHA by depicting LORD GANESHA in this manner.Zapiro has no knowledge of the Hindu culture and therefore should not degrade our revered deity.

This e-mail is to all Hindus and devotees of LORD GANESHA to boycott buying of the SUNDAY TIMES newspaper and all the future newsprint that carries cartoon by Zapiro. We need to show unity in our Hindu culture and not let people with no knowledge of Hinduism to walk all over us.

Please send this e-mail to all Hindus you know, the more the better, and ask them to mail this to all the Hindus they know.

ROY MOODLEY

FOUNDER OF THE LORD GANESHA FLOAT PROCESSION
