Durban dad and multiple sclerosis (MS) sufferer Grant Adams (back left) hopes to be the first person diagnosed with the debilitating disease to get a Comrades medal on Sunday.

His friend, Kearsney College old boy Andrew Murray (back middle), will push Adams in a custom made three-wheel bike to help him fulfil his dream, raise awareness of MS and raise money for a stem cell transplant.

He’ll be assisted by (back from left to right) Kevin Phillips, Mike Rockey and Rohan Eger.

Wishing them well are fellow Comrades runners and Kearsney teachers Steve Main, Nikki Pearman and Mouton Badenhorst (front).
