Man serious after knife attack on R102, and child drowns in Sheppie pool

A man was seriously injured after he sustained a stab wound while on the R102 in Port Shepstone on Tuesday afternoon. Exact detail to the cause of the stabbing and preceding events will remain a subject for police investigation.Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found the man at the side of the roadway in a serious condition. After medics stabilised him at the scene they transported the patient to a local hospital for the care that he required.

 

 

A two-year-old-boy tragically drowned in a Port Shepstone domestic pool near the Kapenta Bay Hotel on the Natal South Coast on Tuesday afternoon. Exact detail as to how the child landed in the pool will remain a subject for police investigation and comment. Netcare 911 paramedics and the police search and rescue arrived at the scene and found the child still submerged in the water. After they pulled the boy out paramedics started advanced life support resuscitation and continued for some time. Tragically the child was declared dead at the scene.
