Pro Series Indoor hockey players will have everything to play for this Sunday after Round Three of the inaugural South Coast Regional League upped the tempo at Port Shepstone High School at the weekend.

Despite several players being away for KwaZulu-Natal soccer trials, 12 teams were once again in action.

“The standard of hockey was excellent and a few players really put up their hands and became serious contenders for spots in the South Coast Marlins teams for nationals,” league organiser and South Coast Marlins franchise owner Dale Esselaar told eHowzit.

“With one-week left the gates are wide open and all players still stand a chance to grab a spot in the various teams,” Esselaar added.

The fourth and final round of the local league will take place at Port Shepstone High School this Sunday, with the action getting underway at 8am.

Entry is R450 per player. To register or for more information, contact Dale Esselaar on [email protected]
