Four Creston College Grade 11s took part in the second round of the Toastmasters International Competition held recently in Durban.

They participated in the three categories as follows: Sarah Jarvis and Kaia Allen in the Prepared Speech category, Mikashin Perumal in the Impromptu category, and Jehryn Moonsamy in the Evaluation category. The competition was very tough as they were up against eight other schools in the greater Durban area.

We are very proud to announce that Mikashin was placed first and won the Impromptu Category at the competition. He will now go through to the third and final round of this competition later on in the year in Durban. We wish him all the very best for this round, as this is an amazing achievement.
