The Creston Grade 6 learners went on camp to Lake Eland and what fun they had.
We were greeted with big smiles from the very friendly and professional staff.
The learners kicked off the activities with some ice breakers and then split into two teams, the Blue turtles and Slithering Simbas.
They were treated to a tasty lunch and then some more team-building. They enjoyed a quick break before heading up for the evening activities.
The morning was chilly but they tackled the two-hour educational walk with positive attitudes. They returned to base camp and after a quick quiz some of them won Lake Eland caps and zip line tickets. It was a wonderful camp enjoyed by all.
Everyone is invited to the Creston College Art and Design Exhibition at the school this Wednesday from 5pm to 6.30pm.
