Creston’s Clinton in fine racing form

Creston College Grade 11 learner Clinton Bezuidenhout (pictured) raced his Glyco Engine Expertise Volkswagen Polo to a double podium at the fourth round of the Engen Polo Cup Series in East London recently.

Clinton was second overall for the day and also secured a record in his class. He earned a bonus point for setting the fastest lap. The next event that Clinton takes part in will be on the 14th of July in Port Elizabeth.

The following Creston pupils made the KZN Hockey Teams: Sibusiso Cele (KZN U12A), Salma Bejia (KZN U12A), Erin Heydricks (KZN U12B) and Emihle Ndwalane (KZN U13C).

Grade 8 pupil, Owen Barclay, fished at the Natal Gamefish Zonals for Shelly Beach Juniors at Pennington recently.

Owen did extremely well and managed to catch a 21.46kg Giant Trevally Kingfish on 10kg line. Owen’s fish is a pending South African,  All African and world record for a Giant Trevally caught by a Junior on 10kg line.
