Anticipation is mounting as the countdown to the the Halfway Toyota Illovo Sugar Challenge continues.
Previously held at the Ugu Sports and Leisure Centre, the fourth edition of the South Coast Hospice fund-raising event will take place at the picturesque Lake Eland Game Reserve on Sunday, 16 August.
“We are very excited about the change in venue,” said South Coast Hospice fund-raising co-ordinator BT King.
Competitors will have their choice of a 45km, 25km, 12km and 5km ride.
All entrants will receive a goodie bag, all first, second and third place finishers will receive trophies with prize vouchers and all finishers will receive a medal.
This year’s raffle prize is a Momsen AL129 29’er bicycle (pictured below) sponsored by Dura Cycles.
Raffle tickets cost R10 and will be available at Shelly Centre on Saturday, 8 August and on the day of the race.
