STATEMENT BY RAY NKONYENI MUNICIPAL MANAGER MAX MBILI:

The Muncipality happily welcomes the return of Cemair operations with effect from 8 November.

This long awaited return will reduce the disctance between Margate and Oliver Tambo airport to 90 minutes. The resuscitation of this service operation will not only reduce the distance but will serve as a catalyst in the economic growth of the region. We are more than ready to welcome the first flight on 8 November.

We call upon all residents of the South Coast to support this initiative as its success will have  an immeasurable positive impact on the outlook of the South Coast. We also thank residents for their patience. The municipality will give the airline unwavering support to provide an excellent service to our people.
