The KwaZulu-Natal South Snooker League, played at Margate Country Club, is hotting up as it draws to a close.

Every frame counts now as players try to get into the top eight to be seeded for the Club Singles Championships. The current top eight players are Selvin Moodley on 30 points, followed by Yega Katharian with 22 points.

There is a three-way tie for third place between Damien Schloms, JJ Kruger and Siyanda Nkonyeni on 21 points. Flip Fourie is currently in sixth place with 20 points, while Basil King and Mpex Mthokozisi are seventh and eight with 18 and 17 points respectively.

Congratulations to Selvin Moodley on his selection by KZN Snooker to participate with 10 other players from Durban in the East Coast Cup. They will compete against Central Gauteng on 9-10 November at the Qmasters Center in Durban. Central Gauteng has many top players in their squad but the KZN boys of the green baize have put in the practice and are ready to take them on.
