The Kingfisher Bowling Association Masters saw the most amazing bowls from both the men and women.
They got off to a great start with the weather holding out on Saturday and Sunday until the finals in the afternoon when the heavens opened with the result that the games for Gold and Silver for both the men and women were postponed to Tuesday.
Spectators were treated to some of the best bowls from the very best players with Shane Nienaber winning the title and Mark Smith runner-up.
On the women’s side, Maureen Muller won the honours from Ellen Cawker in what proved to be a really strong match. Both Muller and Nienaber are to be congratulated as they now join the ranks of the elite players to have won the Master Bowler Title.
The Kingfisher Bowling Association Executive would like to extend their thanks both Southbroom and Margate for hosting the tournament as well as all the Markers and Technical Officials for their time.
