Curro Creston College was successful in the IEB matric examinations for 2019, once again enjoying a 100% pass rate.
An impressive 95% percent of the class of 2019 qualified for University entrance, with seven learners achieving A aggregates, while a collective 74 subject distinctions from the matric class were obtained.
Among the top achievers for 2019, were Waheed Amanjee, Cara Steyn and Savannah Haupt whom all obtained seven distinctions each.
Abbey Richardson and Michael Dalton obtained five subject distinctions each, and Nicholas Kalamoudacos and Micaela van Heerden achieved four subject distinctions each. Calista Whitehouse, Kyle Allan and Jesse Nell obtained three subject distinctions each.
Waheed placed in the top 1% for English Home Language, Life Orientation, Life Sciences and Mathematics and achieved within the top 5% in five subjects.
Jesse placed in the top 1% in Afrikaans First Additional Language, while top 1% for Life Orientation was achieved by Cara, Savannah and Michael Dalton.
Curro Creston College Executive Head Mr Noel Coetzee, Deputy Head Mr Rob Wyatt-Minter, Director of Studies, Dr Susi Coser and the staff are very proud of the learners’ achievements and wish them well in their future endeavours.
