South Coast Hospice’s annual event, Voices for Hospice, took place at Norwegian Settlers Church on Thursday and was yet again a resounding delight.
The soloist Juanita Swart (accompanied by pianist Greta Bredel), the Megan du Plessis Special Needs School, Hlanganani Primary, Suid-Natal Primary, Izotsha Primary and Port Shepstone High School treated guests to a beautiful evening of choral music.
Dr Yvonne Huskisson, who has been involved in this event since its inception 29 years ago, was delighted by the talent of our young performers.
“Thank you to the participating schools, the teachers, parents, the community, and to Norwegian Settlers Church for coming together to support this beautiful event,” said BT King, South Coast Hospice fundraiser.
The generous collection received by the community, and the funds raised by the school children, will go towards patient care at South Coast Hospice.
Voices for Hospice is an international event raising awareness and improving the understanding of the medical, social, practical and spiritual needs of those living with life limiting and terminal illnesses. South Coast Hospice is proud to be part of this global event.
