Port Shepstone High School is deeply saddened to have to bid farewell to one of the kindest and most generous educators.

After twelve years of loyal and dedicated service, Annette Haupt is hanging up her Port Shepstone High School educators’ cap in order to join her daughter, Savannah, and extended family in the northern parts of the Netherlands.

Annette began her journey at Port Shepstone High School in 2008, after teaching at The West Rand School in Krugersdorp for 10 years.

She has brought incredible expertise into the English, Maths and Maths Lit. Departments and her loss will be keenly felt throughout the school body.

Annette was more than just an educator – she was the mentor who led the TADA club since 2009 and she was the matric dance co-ordinator for the past 6 years.

For the last eleven years, Annette has been the tireless editor of the school yearbook. This is a mammoth task which required passion, commitment and a stringent eye!

Thank you Annette for all that you have given to Port Shepstone High School – it is greatly appreciated!
