The Port Shepstone Country Club men’s hockey side scored a well-deserved away victory Riverside on Sunday.

It was a great effort from the boys and they led 2-1 at half-time.

Sheppie started the second half even stronger, with some great antics from Matt Redinger and the variation of Greg Wigmore to increase their lead to 4-1.

Sheppie keeper Darshan Pather made some fine saves to keep his team’s goal difference steady, making sure no shots went through even though Riverside had kept constant pressure on the visitors.
