MEDIA STATEMENT ON THE UGU JAZZ FESTIVAL BY ORGANISERS EYADINI EVENTS:
“Not just a jazz festival but a catalyst for economic development”
AS the count down for the annual Ugu Jazz Festival has begun, organizers, Eyadini Events, can exclusively reveal that come rain or shine, patrons will be covered – literary.
Event organizer, Mjey Zama, says due to unpredictable weather, they have decided to erect a gigantic marquee at Ugu Sports & Leisure Centre where the event will be staged.
“We want patrons not to worry about rain or cold. The air-conditioned marquee is big enough to cover the whole stadium,” says Mjey.
“We therefore, remind our people not to bring gazebos nor umbrellas but camp chairs and fully-loaded cooler boxes with no glasses,” adds Mjey.
No braai stands are allowed as they will be provided for free.
