UGU UPDATE:

Please note the following system status update: Area South 04 May 2020

BHOBHOYI SYSTEM:

St Helen experienced power interruption and pump mechanical fault for a total 12 hours which affected supply to Umzimkhulu and Gamalakhe reservoirs. All boosters are currently running including Sport and Leisure.

MARBURG SYSTEM:

Marburg reservoir: the outlet was closed overnight to build up reserve to feed Masinenge, Esperanza and Marburg during the day. Esperanza pumps are on and reservoir currently above 70%.

UMZUMKHULU/NORTHERN/ALBERSVILLE reservoir.

Northern system reservoirs are all stable. Umtentweni no water compliant has been logged for team to attend.

GAMALAKHE SYSTEM:

The main reservoir and tower are both above 70% and 80% respectively. Msikaba line is opened.

MURCHISON: Murchison No.2 has been opened.

Shelly Beach, Uvongo and Margate CBD supply reservoirs healthy and stable.

SEASLOPES SYSTEM:

Seaslopes above 50%, Ramsgate system supply opened..
Ramsgate South and North above 80% and 50% respectively. Kaisers, Nosita and Game reserve pumps are running to build up Nosita Game, outlet was closed last night to build up reservoir and supply to community is now opened.

MHLABATSHANE SYSTEM:

Mehlomnyama supply has opened and feeding KwaMadlala system. Ngcengezi supply closed as per Schedule.

UMTHAVUNA SYSTEM:

Umthavuna plant is operational, Hanover, Shobamdlanzi pump running and coastal supply opened.

No water complaint for Palm Beach area had been resolved.

KWAHLONGWA plant operational.

Area South Water tanker Status:

There are currently 6 out of 15 internal tankers on the road.. All 10 hired tankers are on the road.
