UGU STATEMENT:

Please note the following status update: 06 April 2020

BHOBHOYI SYSTEM:

Bhobhoyi plant is operating at full capacity and all boosters are running. Sport and Leisure currently off due to Gamalakhe level above 90%.

MARBURG SYSTEM:

Esperanza pumps running to feed Upper Marburg and Bobhoyi.

UMZUMKHULU/NORTHERN/ALBERSVILLE:

Northern reservoirs stable. Albersville feed to beachfront: areas complaining of no water around Stages restaurant: allocated to technician and area Superintendent to resolve today, Auriga flats confirm to have water.

Shelly Beach, Uvongo and Margate CBD reservoirs stable.

GAMALAKHE SYSTEM:

Main reservoir and Tower above 90%. Four room no water complain logged and dispatched to team.

SEASLOPES SYSTEM:

Ramsgate line opened, team refilling Ramsgate south which was dropping and now building up. Kaisers and Nosita, Game pumps pumps running to feed upper Margate and Nosita.

UMTHAVUNA SYSTEM:

Plant operating at full capacity. Florida pump station running and coastal line opens. Port Edward currently sitting at 80% and supply diverted to Upper coastal, Grassmere.

Izingolweni, Gcilima and Nzimakwe no water allocated to Foreman to attend.

MHLABATSHANE SYSTEM:

Supply from the Umgeni was restricted affecting feed to Mehlomnyama; KwaMadlala and Domba supply to be restored when Mehlomnyama built up.
