KZN South Coast Ratepayers and Residents Organisation chairman Olliver Ransome is extremely upbeat about the current situation regarding service delivery of the Hibiscus Coast Municipality.  Prof. Ransome spoke to eHowz!t after watching eHowz!t video interviews with Municipal Manager Max Mbili, taking note of recent newspaper reports and interacting with Mr. Mbili in different forums.  He has much more hope now that the situation of broken promises and bad service delivery that has existed until quite recently, can be turned around, and that trust can be restored between the municipality and rate payers, something that hasn’t existed for some time. “Mr. Mbili is sincere, and has publicly recognised problems that the ratepayer organisations have been pointing out for some time, such as a lack not only of productivity but of discipline amongst municipal workers.  He is on the right track, and we are right behind him in this huge task that he has of restoring that vital element of trust between ratepayers and the HCM.”
