Please take note of the following systems status update: 04 April 2020

Bhobhoyi system:

Plant operational at full capacity; all plant boosters are running.

Marburg reservoir healthy sitting at above 40%, Esperanza pumps off and Esperanza reservoir above 60%.

Umzimkhulu/Albersville/Northern reservoirs:

reservoir stable and North Shepstone building up. Bulk line break in Hibberdene to be attend today. Port Shepstone beachfront no water allocated to standby.

Shelly Beach, Uvongo and Margate CBD reservoirs stable and healthy.

Gamalakhe system: main reservoir above 60% with tower above 80%. Msikaba line opened.

Seaslopes system:

Ramsgate system health South and North reservoir above 80% and 70% respectively. Kaisers and Nosita pumps running to upper Margate and Nosita.

Umthavuna system:

Hanover pumps running to feed inland (Izingolweni and KwaXolo system).

Coastal system opened: BP2 climbing and supply opened to feed Port Edward and Grassmere. No flow into Port Edward Reservoir and standby team allocated to resolve.

Mhlabatshane system: plumber has closed Phongola/ Ngcengezi to resupply Mehlomnyama/KwaMadlala (KoMkhulu) and Domba reservoirs to build capacity for Domba and Magog areas.

KwaHlongwa plant operational and feeding Malukhakha reservoir.

Internal tankers: 3 trucks on standby.
Hired: 6 trucks filling Murchison hospital and 4 standby for emergency.
