UGU STATEMENT:

Please note the following status update: 05 April 2020

BHOBHOYI SYSTEM:

Bhobhoyi plant is operational at full capacity and all boosters are running including Sport and Leisure.

MARBURG SYSTEM:

Marburg healthy and feeding Esperanza reservoir which is 50% climbing.

UMZIMKHULU/ALBERSVILLE/NORTHERN SYSTEM:

Umzimkhulu, Albersville and Northern reservoirs healthyand all above 50% average. Team attended no water complain in beach front and found line valve closed, they reopened the valve. However they are back on site for further investigate and no water complaint again.

Uvongo, Shelly Beach and Margate CBD reservoirs stable.

GAMALAKHE SYSTEM:

Main reservoir and tower above 80% and Msikaba feed opened.

SEASLOPES SYSTEM:

Ramsgate reservoir above 80%. Kaisers and Nosita pumps running to feed upper Margate and Nosita. Nosita game not building up, logged for team to check game pump station supply.

UMTHAVUNA SYSTEM:

Plant operational and coastal supply opened. BP2 above 60% and Port Edward opened. Team allocated to check KwaNzimakwe supply.

Inland system: Florida and Nodalane pump station off due to break on Nodalane pumping main, pipeline damaged due to attempted illegal connection.

MHLABATSHANE SYSTEM:

Supply to KwaMadlala opened. Domba reservoir had water. KwaMadlala (no inflow); team on site checking for possible break or closed valves.

KwaHlongwa no water complain resolved last night, leak on the airvalve was isolated.
