St Helen’s rock pump station operational…salinity levels stable at below 100 ms/m.

Bhobhoyi plant production is at 80 Mega Litres per Day, salinity level is 138 ms/m and currently stable. All plant boosters are running including Sport and Leisure.

MARBURG SYSTEM: reservoir above 70%: outlet was closed last night and opened this morning. Teams dispatched to bleed the system to restore Marburg and Oslo Beach. Esperanza and Masinenge dispatched to be started.

Northern system: Umzimkhulu and Albersville reservoirs have recovered. Northern Shepstone reservoir is building up and most areas should start receiving water. Bulk northern main feeding Louisiana, KwaMadlala pump station team dispatched to start and Fairview pump station will be started tonight when Melville has water. Anerley reservoir climbing to feed Melville reservoir. The reported breaks in Southport are being attended this morning.

Gamalakhe reservoir is healthy and tower pump is running. Team will start releasing airlock. Msikaba line is still closed and water tankers to be used.

Southern system: Seaslopes above 40%, Ramsgate North at 60% opened last night, Ramsgate south opened this morning and low lying areas will start receiving water during the day and low lying areas tonight.

Kaisers station is slowly building up and resupply upper Margate and Nosita.

Shelly Beach, Uvongo command reservoirs are healthy.

Murchison pump station running and supplying community reservoirs.

UMTHAVUNA SYSTEM: Plant is operational.

Coastal supply opened at 05:00 am to resupply BP2 and Port Edward which is currently sitting at 80%.. team attending to repairs on the valve on 12th street.

Hanover pump station opened to feed KwaXolo system (Gcilima) and Izingolweni (Nkulu).
