Maimane cleared of wrongdoing by party probe; Zille enters four-person race to become federal council chair

In a surprise move, former party leader Helen Zille quit her new job as a fellow of the Institute for Race Relations to run for the post of DA Federal Council Chair alongside Athol Trollip, Mike Waters and Thomas Walters. What this means for DA leader, Mmusi Maimane who took over leadership of the party from Zille, remains to be seen.
