Cemair has announced that due to the tremendous demand, more extra flights have been organised for 24, 27 and 28 December, and for 12 January 2o14. Cemair marketing manager Nicolene Myburgh told e-Howz!t on Friday evening that ticket sales were continuing to exceed all expectations, and the airline was having to pull out all the stops to cope with the demand. Since the introduction of the flights on 1 November, the occupancy rate has been extremely high.

Ms Myburgh told eHowz!t that Cemair now has a vacancy for a frontline representative at Margate Airport. The person will be responsible for: ticket sales, bookings and enquiries, pro-active marketing of the route and the company, passenger and luggage check-in, overseeing and assisting with passenger and luggage movement between the terminal building and aircraft, co-ordinating with local airport manager and luggage handlers, and dealing with customer queries/complaints and special needs of passengers, such as the disabled.
