Paddock polocrosse players shine in Vryburg

Kenan Classen and Jens Bunge from Paddock Polocrosse Club took part in the North West Classic Tournament held in Vryburg recently.

The tournament featured 172 players, 15 of them international players, and was well organised with a Black tie evening on the Friday night where the teams were ranked by handicap, drawn and announced.

Classen, at 17, was the youngest player in A division and won the individual prize of best male player in the A division.

His team, sponsored by Tokkie Ferreira Makelaars, came third out of the eight sponsored teams in A division.

Paddock polocrosse players shine for South Africa

Bunge led his team sponsored by Taurus Signs to victory in the B division and won a Gordon Shaw-sponsored saddle.
