Superbodies Margate and Superbodies Port Shepstone hosted an Aerobathon at Southcoast Mall on Saturday to raise funds for South Coast Hospice.

From spinning, push-ups, sit-ups and aerobics, scores of gym members and community members broke out into a sweat for a good cause.

The Aerobathon attracted a lot of interest from curious shoppers as the fitness enthusiasts bobbed up and down to the beat of the music.

“My eyes are still tired from watching all that exercise,” said an excited and grateful BT King, fundraiser for South Coast Hospice.

“Thank you so much to Superbodies for reaching out to assist us and thank you to all the sponsors and all who took part to make this event an exciting success. It is truly amazing what the human body can do.

“As an NPO, we rely on funding, grants and community support to remain sustainable. We are grateful to our community for the generous contributions and assistance.

“All funds raised go towards the care of patients through our home-based care and Kingfisher House Inpatient Unit.”
