Shelly Beach-based Crossfit Mahalo collaborated with ILoveBoobies this past weekend to help raise funds during cancer awareness month.

Zumba Strong’s Cindy Francis, who’s also a local ILoveBoobies ambassadors along with Angela Bunge, and Crossfit Mahalo coach Sheby Skye joined forces to put participants through their paces with a fun-filled mash-up workout.

The ‘Barbells, Boobies and Balls’ event started with a fun Zumba warm-up followed by the CrossFit and Strong session before a cool-down stretching session with Shanna Peterson.

There was a designated kid-friendly workout station provided by Gymbo Kids as well, the Port Shepstone Lions made sure participants’ were fuelled with great food while many had a blast getting their hair sprayed by The Fringe.

“We are proud to announce that an excess of R7000 was raised over the course of Saturday morning,” said Skye.

“We would like to extend a massive thank you for the generous donations from all the participants and spectators to our awesome sponsors who helped us make this day possible, as well as the Mahalo members and committee for all the planning and support,” she added.
