STATEMENT BY LOWER SOUTH COAST SPCA:

Mike Davis and Inspector Jacob Maduna spent Wednesday morning saving a young bull who fell down a cliff in Skedleni, Gamalakhe.

Surprisingly, the young bull only lost his one horn. After the dangerous rescue operation, the SPCA Veterinarian Dr Blessing went to Gamalakhe and examined the young bull. He received the necessary veterinary treatment needed.

This week really started off with wildlife crises.

Call out for a bushbuck and a monkey that was badly injured. A baby gennet who was safely dropped off at the CROW Rehabilitation Centre.

A juvenile African Harrier Hawk was brought in Wednesday morning with a broken wing. He was shot with a pellet gun! Hopefully the bird will eventually be able to fly again.

Please donate towards our fuel and running costs. Our Inspectorate cover a large area and we receive no funding from the Government.
