The Men’s Amateur Classic rolled on at Southbroom Golf Club on Tuesday with Kevin Daly and Andy Bladon the pick of the pairings.

The duo won the day, and a R600 Pro Shop voucher each, on 51 points.

Robbie and Melchi Botha established themselves as the most consistent pair of the early stages of the competition.

After finishing fourth on the opening day, the Bothas placed second on Day Two, just a point behind the winners, and won a R500 Pro Shop voucher each.

The Walkers, Cleve and Gavin, was third on 48 points, which saw them pocket a R400 Pro Shop voucher, with Grant Harding and Keith Bedessie each winning a R300 Pro Shop voucher after finishing fourth on 47 points.

The nearest to pin prizes went to Paddy McGivern (4th), Patrick Mavundla (5th), Dev Player (8th), Roger Govender (11th) and Des Martin (14th).

The players will have Wednesday off to recover from the opening two rounds, with the competing resuming on Thursday.
