These deliciously crunchy Peppadew® Jalapeño bites are a quick and easy appetizer to serve before you and the family sit down to enjoy one of our country’s favourite past-times.
Ingredients
- 1x 210 g tin water chestnuts, drained, well rinsed and dried
- 250 g streaky bacon
- 1 jar Peppadew® Pickled Jalapeño, quartered
- tooth picks
Method
- Wrap a strip of streaky bacon around a slice of Pickled Jalapeño and a drained water chestnut, securing it with a tooth pick. Continue until you’ve used up the ingredients.
- Pop under the grill for 8 minutes and it’s done. A deliciously, crunchy bite, perfect for your tapas table, ready to serve.
