Art lovers are in for a treat at the opening of local artist Anika Funk’s first solo exhibition at the Margate Art Museum tonight (Friday, 4 September).
The exhibition has a surreal feel to it and consists of 40 stunning pieces.
Ramsgate artist Funk says she’s looking forward to unveiling her nine-month project to the public in what promises to be a memorial opening evening, which gets underway at 18.00.
“I’m very excited. The museum looks beautiful and I’m happy with the music we’ve chosen and how it all comes together,” she told eHowzit.
Funk’s exhibition will run for the next month, and could possibly be extended for an additional month.
