A number of swimmers achieved their personal bests and records tumbled – Jaime Strom and Monica Botha breaking four records each, Jade Cunningham setting two new records and Erica Hair, John Hattingh and Raphy Yumba each breaking one record each.
The respective age group winners were Raphy Yumba and Kara Lombard (six and under), Monica Botha and Andre Steyn (seven year olds), Scarlett Scorer and Leith Hair (eight year olds), Cara Message and Rafe Lombard (nine year olds), Jaime Storm and Andre Nell, (10 year olds), Andreka Pillay and John Hattingh (11 year olds), Jade Cunningham and Rudi Steyn/Liam Taljaard (12 year olds) and Jonathan Pretorius (13 year olds).
