Sheppie High first team clinch St. Patrick’s cricket tournament

The Port Shepstone High School first team cricket boys won all their matches convincingly on the St. Patrick’s tour and went on to win the tournament.

The Bowler and Batsman of the Tournament awards went to Yogeshan Pillay.

The Under-14 team beat Southcity by 58 runs. Port Shepstone High School posted 82 for nine with Ty Redinger scoring 38 runs for Port Shepstone High School. Southcity were bowled out for 24 with Günter van der Merwe taking three wickets for two runs.

The Under-14s then went on to beat Amanzimtoti High. Port Shepstone High School were 88 all out, Atish Ghingai scoring 20 runs for the team. Amanzimtoti only made 78 runs all out, Redinger taking four wickets for 28 runs as Port Shepstone High School won by 10 runs.
