South Coast Hospice hosted a memorable movie night, featuring inspiring film ‘Overcomer’, at Ster Kinekor Shelly Centre on Thursday.
“The movie was thoroughly enjoyed by all who attended,” said James Sishuba, South Coast Hospice Marketing Coordinator.
“The movie was a definite tear-jerker, with many leaving the movie house emotional. But we were all in good spirits, having learned many valuable lessons. The movie has inspired us all to reflect on our own circumstances and to forgive.
“The movie played to a diverse audience; young and old and from different backgrounds. Yet it was a story that we all could relate to,” added Sishuba.
“It was also a great opportunity to welcome many people who were attending a South Coast Hospice fundraiser for the first time. We are happy that we were able to bring this beautiful movie to the South Coast, and we look forward to seeing more new faces at our next movie night.”
The team at South Coast Hospice extends its sincere thanks to all who supported this event. All funds raised will go to patient care, helping make compassionate palliative care accessible to those in need.
