The first Locker Room to be held on the South Coast was a rip-roaring success at San Lameer Country Club on Thursday.

The panel of ex-Springbok John Allan, former Proteas star Pat Symcox, golf legend Mark McNulty and local sports fundi Bevis Fairbrother ensured for a memorable night of laughs for the launch of the Suid-Natal Primary School Game On! Loyalty Card arranged by RE/MAX Coast and Country.

A golf “Shoot Out” was also held at Locker Room 13 and saw Cobus Jacobs win a prize sponsored by San Lameer.

“It was a fantastic evening of networking,” said Annchen du Toit from RE/MAX Coast and Country.

“Special thanks to Pat Symcox for mastering the ceremonies and co-hosting eye2eye with John Allan and a heartfelt and special thanks to the legendary Rhodesian-born Mark McNulty for humbly sharing some amazing experiences from his illustrious golfing career and even a peek into his personal life.

“A special thanks to well-known journalist and the ‘world’s best water hazard player,’ South Coast Herald’s Bevis Fairbrother, for the insights about his journalistic career, and for sharing heart-warming stories about some of local community’s incredible good deeds.”
